Healthline Aerosol Medicine
maintains and operates a comprehensive aerosol laboratory at
its research, development and manufacturing facility in Los
Angeles California (please see the Photo
Gallery). In this laboratory we can create
radiolabeled aerosols for the in vitro measurement of
nebulizer efficiency, inhaled mass and particle size (Mass
Mean Aerodynamic Diameter -- MMAD). In vivo studies of
radiolabeled aerosol deposition and distribution with a gamma
camera have been conducted at a nearby medical center.
